How Attention Access works

How a request could lead to support.

Attention Access is designed to help connect a recognized need with an appropriate next step. Interest forms save privately for Attention Access staff to review.

Proposed operating model

The proposed operating model.

01

Ask & understand

Begin with adult contact details. If a pathway is available, a separate private process gathers the information needed for review.

02

Review & decide

Review considers eligibility, program fit, available funding and capacity.

03

Fund & connect

The proposed process connects an approved award with a provider, a defined support plan and the family's consent.

04

Follow up & learn

Verified Attention Access outcomes have not yet been published here.

What can funding support?

Different needs. Different next steps.

The right mix is decided case by case. Attention Access funding is subject to its approved charitable purpose and award rules.

  • Understanding & evaluation

Approved assessment or evaluation when it helps identify the next appropriate step.

  • Coaching, care & skill-building

Qualified support for daily functioning, learning, family routines, or other approved needs.

  • Navigation & coordination

Help connecting the people and steps involved, with the family's consent.

  • School capacity

A separate pathway that supports staff training and classroom practice through participating schools.

Before funding begins

What to expect before an award.

01

Eligibility is reviewed

A request does not guarantee approval, funding, a diagnosis, or a place in any specific program.

03

Providers are accountable

Provider qualifications, scope, pricing and relationships are reviewed before funding begins.

Provider expectations
Planned measures

What we hope to measure.

  • Access

Who receives an award, reaches support, and starts? What barriers remain?

  • Participation

How much of the agreed support is used and completed?

  • Everyday outcomes

What changes in family-defined goals and suitable measures? Who provides the report?

  • Stewardship

What was received, allocated, spent, and left available? What do costs include?
